I manage to be pretty content when all is said and done, especially since it's all so flexible, eheh. Twitter is pretty non-intrusive though. It's when you feel <i>obligated</i> to write about every little thing you're doing that it begins to get out of hand. After doing it for a week or so, I'm calming down. MySpace and Facebook are specifically geared to keep people on the site as long as possible. Good thing you and I haven't been sucked into that. For your one-liners per day, I would definitely pick up where you left off. You could even use Twitter for that if you wanted; it keeps an archive of all your messages and limits your length. I started dating mine because it gave me more incentive and obligation...which is what I wanted to feel accomplished. Indeed I am doing something with my degree. In fact any type of new job will suck, unless you're extremely blessed or privelaged and just fall into something. Give it time, and you'll move onto new jobs with probably much more interesting tasks. And unlike a large majority of college grads, you're actually doing something with your degree. *must start one-liners per day again!* At least you haven't fallen behind as much as I have with that exercise. But silly little social things such as facebook/twitter tend to do that...which is why I refuse to get a myspace. You’re first “career” job will suck.
